Dragon Ball Z Super Collection Vol 2 Vegeta ドラゴンボールZ ベジータ

Naturally, Vol.2 would come after Vol.1 so here is a review of Super Collection Vol.2 Vegeta

Instead of going the same route as the Super Battle Collection with Super Saiyajin Goku being Vol.2, Bandai decided to give that honor DBZ's eternal "Number Two": Vegeta.

Of the three prominent costumes Vegeta had throughout DBZ, he is typically featured in Action Figure form as early Shoulder-Pad Vegeta or Bra-Straps Vegeta. In the middle there was a suit he wore primarily on Planet Namek that was dark navy with a bland white Armor-piece. For some reason, two years after the fact, Bandai released this figure of Vegeta with that seldom used outfit. Why? Not sure. Vegeta wasn't quite a villain by thise point in the series, but he certainly wasn't a friend either. Because of his outfit, could this be the only villain figure in the line-up of Super Collection figures?

While there isn't a whole lot to say about this figure outside of the same fanfare given to Vol.1 Goku (aside from the likeness being good, but not as great), I feel I can safely state that this is probably one of the weaker offerings in the line-up of Super Collection figures. Can't quite put my finger on it...it's just...off. Also, it's not nearly the right size as Super Saiyajin Vegeta (who is wearing the Bra-Strap Armor).

In anycase, if you're a great Vegeta fan then you'll certainly enjoy this figure. If not...well it's not very expensive if you're kinda on the fence about it.

This guy looks like Gunpei from Go Onger
