I don't have the score and I'm no pianist, so I have no idea what's going on from 2:49 to 3:00. It doesn't look like he presses the keys with sufficient force to sound the chord, but only to lift the dampers sustaining that chord and damping the arpeggio?
why do so few talented pianists promote themselves with an own website? well anyways, I found him via a concert ilsting. he will play in Basel, Switzerland on May 18th. unfortunatly i can not attend. does anybody know where else he will perform?
i have been looking for this pianist since I got hold of his CD five years ago. He recorded that CD when he was nine years old. How old is he now? And yes, as Pennypianist was asking, is he related to Alexander Mdoyants of the Moscow Conservatory? (his father maybe)? Wonderful pianist! I hope we here more of him!
The prelude is fiendishly difficult, but the fugue is closer to impossible. He doesn't make it sound or look easy, but witnessing that performance in person must have been electrifying!
Great Playing'
