sorry, wea28. the comment wasnt intended to come up where it did, it was aimed at pome. i too knew them as it happens. knew them all my life as they were friends of my parents. roy taught me to play the guitar, and let me play his combolin! that was a long time ago, when i was young!

i think youv got the rong person i no wot it is i had the privilage of meetind Roy & Ronnie in airdrie and became good freinds i hav also had privilage of playing Roys.

its not a 28 string guitar. that was a different instrument. the sitar sound comes from the 13 sympathetic strings mounted above the guitar neck on roys combolin. incidently, thay are indeed sitar strings. his is also a bandurria, not a mandolin. ronnies has a mandolin on it.
