Ok, well Get this. The AUS dlink site only lists firmware 1.02b5. The U.S website lists 1.04!!! Damn you dlink! So make sure you download the file from the U.S site (this is, select U.S. when you are asked what country you are from).
I hate people that leave the production plastic on devices. Your is hanging off the sides. Go on, rip them off already! (Far out, that could be why yours not working - overheating!)
I am having this problem too. Camera just stops working for a while. Have to turn it off for like an hour before it starts working again. I have no ideas on fixing yet.
DSC-920 frequently loses the WiFi connection. Setup goes fine, remove LAN cable, picks up WiFi. Then sometimes minutes later, sometimes days later it goes off line. Connect the LAN cable, works fine, disconnect LAN cable, it's fine until the next time. WiFi signal at 80-100% strength. Tried power cycle, disable UPnP, firmware upgrade, web interface (worse), D-View, (worse), Visec (best).
If I can't find a fix, I won't buy another. Panasonic BB-HCM371A wireless is almost flawless at 25% signal.
I have 10 of these running and for the money they can't be beat! I've tried TrendNet, Zonet, and Panasonic, and these are all inferior to D-Link. Especially the Panasonic; it is a high-priced piece of junque! In the price range the DCS910/920 are in, I find them hard to beat!

I found that if you disable the UPNP option in the interface, my lockup's stopped. Might give that a try. I love the camera.
