Deborah Katz singing O Mio Babbino Caro

Deborah Katz's first real recital, She has been singing since 2005... it needs lots of work but.... O Mio Babbino Caro is one of her favorite peices. She sang it in a recent competition, Kean Idol. It's a classic show piece and Ms. Katz would love for it to be her trademark.

Seconded. Your voice has potential, although it needs far more training to stand up to the Opera Hall. The vowels are stretched to the point of distortion — at 0:33, 0:39, and 0:50, for instance. While emitting sound is important, pronouncing the language well is vital.

Helen Traubel sang doing housework until her last child left home, then she sang at the Met. Shirley Verett was a successful realtor. It is possible to sing at the highest level while pursuing another full-time career. Sing daily, don't force your voice beyond what you are endowed with.
