oh so this is who portishead is trying to sound like
-
Is that Adrian Belew? Maybe this is unfair, but I always had him pegged as too much of a show-off to be so much in the background. Or does he show off elsewhere in the film?

great album

For such a visionary artist whose shows are very multimedia, she has yet to release any of her shows on DVD! Please Warner, Laurie or gods of the DVDs, release them.
Let them run free before I catch them and lock them away in a cabinet!

Fan of Laurie since i was a kid and this clip is amazing like a theatre prodution tells a story. Laurie is totally underatted and a great female ahead of her time.

Awesome. Thanks Laurie.

Laurie is very ecclectic and dances to the beat of her own drummer, and she does it damn well! She chose a very good guitar player to join her band for this gig, Adrien Belew from King Crimson, another ecclectic artist in the vein of David Byrne and Peter Gabriel. This kind of music, because of it's complexity and strange rythms, remains timeless. Well done Laurie!!

Why hasn't this been remastered and reissued on Blu-ray yet?

Almost 30 years old, and as fresh as when it arrived. Anderson is brilliant.

along with Talking Head's Stop Making Sense this is the best concert film I've ever seen.
