Here's a HD clip of the stubby yoshimura cf trc on an 07 yamaha r6s. All of this was custom fabricated, instructions are here.

Ignore the rust, I have to paint the bracket this summer.

  • hey just have a couple questions. Thinking of doing the same mod but wondering how much louder it made it compared to stock? Like is it annoyingly loud? Im only concerned because my bike is a daily driver and right now i have the Competition Werkes Stubby and its way too loud. Like ear piercing. haha Also does it scrape if you lean too hard?

  • @MrAcsilva84 Its definitely louder than stock. Mostly because the exhaust is being thrown right next to your ear rather behind the bike. It's comfortable though. As for leaning, unless your dragging pegs you'll never notice it there. BTW, the exhaust comes with a silencer.

  • Just purchased the same exhaust. When I get back to the states I'm doing the same conversion. I hate the exhaust on the R6S but I love the look otherwise.

Did you cut the butterfly valve off on the new exhaust or leave it? I've seen it done both ways.

  • @Xer0Ph0kus Awesome man! Theres no butterfly valve on this exhaust...at least there shouldnt be. The EXUP is part of the CAT. New mid-pipe should remove that. But you shouldnt have an EXUP on the r6s'.

  • Best sounding stubby for the R6 by far!

  • i've been looking at this exhaust for a while and i haven't really seen anyone selling them like what you have it so just to clairify for me. did you have to shorten(cut) slip on in order for it to fit like it does short and under neath the rear brake pretty much. Or can you buy it like the way you have it. I know this probably seems like a dumb ass question but how do you know if you don't ask...

  • where did you order the stubby? and is that a full system?

  • Sounds good.I got confused with all the walk throughs since they always show a stock 3rd Gen exhaust going on there. Thanks for the info.
