@Inthya011 The later (violent) texts in the quran supercede the earlier ones - surely you know that? It says so IN THE QURAN which is the "final word of god". The most perfidious thing about this crude ideology is how it destroys the critical faculty so completely. That is what the word Islam - submission - means. These idiots have made fools of themselves. They obviously have done no research into Islam. People with the inability to think rationally should at least know what they and their children owe to the rational thought of others and ought not support a powerful political ideology whose aim is to establish the rule of irrationality. Fourth, even the contributions that are attributed to Islam (often inaccurately) are not terribly dramatic. There is the invention of certain words, such as alchemy and elixir, but not much else that survives in modern technology that is of any practical significance. Neither is there any reason to believe that such discoveries would not have easily been made by the West following the cultural awakening triggered by the Reformation.
