  • wtwta should have been rated G because I saw nothing offensive in it. There was no bad language. No violence. No offensive humor. I didn't think it was scary, just a little dark and very emotional .

  • 1:25 LOL "It's a creepy freakin' movie."

  • Great review.

  • Your advise is the exact reason why I'm going to see it!

  • I'm sorry man, but kids NEED to see this movie.

I took my 9 & 5 year old and they both said that it's the best movie they've seen in the cinema.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being scared now and again.(not that my two found it particularly scary)

  • Great review!

  • You spent say the whole review repeating this "It was creepy, it was disturbing, it was weird". Weird doesn't necessarily mean bad. I was happy with the fact it was so different and unhollywood.

  • well, fair enough. i still want to see the movie....if it's not meant for kids, i guess i don't have a comment on that since i have no children and i'm not a child so it doesn't bother me...i loved the book, and yes it's short and simple, and yes obviously, meant for kids, but the film (if you know spike jonze) clearly takes 'liberties', but just like other things that some might have thought were meant for children probably aren't...i'm ok with that. take your kids to a disney film i guess.

  • I think they should have kept this a book!!!

  • Disappointing, I read the book when I was in 3rd grade. Hmmmm when was that, uh, 1968. I loved the book but your description of the movie was not how I want to remember the great childrens classic. Thanks Shawn for a great review and sparring my children form this bad movie.
