Great video!
The trains are going 950 feet (250m) apart. (according to Google Earth, measuring the distance between the beginning of the first turnout and the heart of the last turnout on the middle track. At 4:50 this is the locations where the trains ends is.)

wow that is very rare to see 2 trains following each other that closely! if the following train loses control its all over.. Amazing catch there!

Somewhat surprising to see those two w-bound trains on the same track-- of course they probably were not nearly as close as they looked (due to the camera zoom etc). Another awesome video!!
