@gooadd Citizens like him make high security events safer and in my opinion more people need to carry guns. The only idiot is you, for believing that a armed law abiding citizen is a threat.. Everyone in my neighborhood owns a weapon, no crime in my hood for about 20 years now. Basic history, an armed society is a free society... look it up.

@BrokenRRT NH CC law says you cannot carry on school property at any time. This, IMHO, is a reasonable restriction and not inconsistent with the 2nd amendment.

@Kmagnus80 There was no making up of laws here. NH CC law says you cannot carry on school property (and a bunch of other places) at any time. Capt. MacDonald is also a practicing attorney in NH and MA, and was prosecuting attorney for the Portsmouth Police Dept. (They have their own prosecutor as well as the city DA). He knows the law, and is a master at handling people fairly. He would be the first to hold the PD accountable for their decisions and actions.

@davejsmith NH CC says you cannot carry on school property, as well as lots of other places. He had no right to carry there at any time. (Now Capt.) MacDonald handled the situation masterfully, as he always does. Regardless of the right to carry issue, the guy was an idiot for bringing a gun to an obviously high security event. IMHO.

At least the cop guard was being civil about it....He was just trying to keep his $8/hr job. Cant blame him for that. He wasn't yelling or being dissrespectful. One reason I prefer cc rather than open. Though, open should be a choice.

Corporation Vs. You
With pig tools.

If he has a right to carry in that area, the police were wrong to ask him to leave. I think it becomes an FBI matter, someones civil liberties being stepped on? But, i'm unsure?

Any one want to bet the same people who think this cop is great for removing this guy would call him a pig if he arrested some thug in another video. I agree this was a good encounter no violence no shouting. Just 2 people 1 who enforces the law and another law abiding citizen settling things civilly. As i said in other police videos the cop may of been wrong but you don't argue about that there just do as he ask and if you feel you been wrong take it to court.
Portsmouth Police and this detective should be applauded for the way they handled this. Mr Kostric should also be applauded for the way he handled himself. A true patriot!

This is the most shocking video I have ever seen! A man with a gun calmly talking to the police and no one gets tasered or shot. What is this world coming to!?
