Can someone explain something to me that Romney threw out at some point during their whole pizza party. "Democrats were Monarchists; Republicans were revolutionaries." The Democratic Party is a unbroken continuation of the Democratic-Republican Party started by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. How the hell were they Monarchists? The Republican Party (party of Lincoln) began in 1854. Exactly how many revolutions have been fought in this country since 1854?

Romney compared the GOP to Americans fighting the British during the Revolutionary War with his Monarchist comment. Technically, the Dems are traced back to the Jeffersonian era, but don't represent much of anything in regards to Jefferson. For example, Jefferson believed in super small Government, strong and independent States rights, & he fought desperately against a National Bank, and championed individual liberty instead of a welfare state. Although, he did hate Capitalism as Dems do today.

If Willard "mitt" is the future for the GOP, it's more of the same with 3 times the flip flops.
