I posted a video response. Just wish the camera I used had sound, but since you've probably heard a BT 'scream', you'll know what he sounds like anyway. Too bad about Conrad hurting Skittles. How old is Conrad? I've got pics of both of mine, but YouTube doesn't allow links to be put in posts. Dumb thing (LOL).

I got skittles to be her mate becasue she started laying eggs, but I guess she wanted a man not a boy. I spoil conrad so she is happy with me. she doesn't want another bird.

My brown throat is 21 years old, and she's one tough cookie. I put fake eggs in her cage to hopefully stop her from laying more ( 2 months with no eggs!). Your BTC's are awesome.

Thank you. Conrad is very special to me even if she is a little rat. She will lay a couple of eggs in the spring but she doesn't keep laying them. I got her a male and she tore a hole in his neck, so after many stitches and rehab he lives peacefully in a cage with a quaker that he constantly does a mating dance for.( go figure)

There's not enough videos of Brown-Throats here. Conrad has a really cute 'voice'. My 16 year old BT Conure isn't as clear as him. Fun little birdies.

Conrad does have a clear voice., but Skittles has a really clear voice too. Conrad ended up ripping a hole in skittles side.He was stitched up and put with a quaker. Those two have been bestest friends and are best of pals. Conrad is old and set in her ways, but she will always be my favorite. Skittles is the one that keeps my hyper active quaker straight and also "tries" to teach him how to speak clearly.Thanks for your comments. if you have pictures of your BT I would love to see them.
