To anyone here that's preaching about adoption: Most parents seeking to adopt children, want to adopt white babies. It's as simple as that. Also, going through pregnancy is monumentally taxing on the female body, and more importantly, heartbreaking for the mother.

Ive considered adoption since tons of kids-teens are in foster care, also am for human population control, look up Earth Clock for scary stats. Reducing prolonged suffering in is important. Vegans also drastically reduce hunger (every 10lbs corn/grain fed to force-bred birds/pigs only gives 1lb cooked flesh in return) and helps health/environment

You get a minute chance of ectopic pregnancy in women with badly done tubal ligations and a slight chance of spontaneous healing which is why they recommend regular checks. I know a woman who had one done after her birth control failed (due to weight) causing her second child. Hers spontaneously healed all of about 15 years later! Either way, still way fewer casualties and screw ups with this method. No way to forget to get it done. No hormones with side effects, etc. Virtually no lives lost.

The primary reason for IUDs is to create a hostile environment to prevent implantation. It's just a faster version of abortion. Hormonal birth control works by preventing a egg from being released first, which is fine, but it also has the second mechanism of also creating a hostile uterine environment. Not okay. Permanent sterilization has the highest efficiency in the most ethical way. No fertilization, no kicked out babies, nothing.

Even when birth control is used properly and responsibly, it can still fail and women who do everything the "right" way to prevent a pregnancy can still become pregnant.

Also I'm curious why you are 'for' some types of birth control but not others. For example, why dislike IUDs but promote permanent sterilization?

@MC Cole Abortion is even harder on the Baby. I read quoting an abortion activist. They said deep down everyone knows its wrong. It may take a year of your life to adopt but you won't regret it.

The only reason we care if a potential life dies, is because we ourselves sympathyze and dont want to die, so why should they? The thing is, they dont know what death is. I think of them as in-adament objects until they develope a brain. There is NO way you can argue against that, prime example #1:

Virus' are the closest thing to a life form, but know why they arent? Because they dont have a brain. Their DNA is also stolen, in a sense thats what a potential life is, a virus stealing DNA.

I'm all for birth control that is non hormonal, and I'm happier with hormonal birth controls than IUDs. I'm hella happier with those options than with it making it to the point of an abortion. No one responsible would let it get to that point. I'm not for paying for anyone else to have sex or kill a baby. Not my problem. Like i said, I'm not part of any movement, I just have my own very fact based ethics system. Killing innocents for any reason, besides life or death or to eat, is always wrong.
