  • @Valimaar42 Get yourself a good refractometer. Its more accurate, and easier to use!

    Has to be an alcohol reading one, for wine or spirits...

  • @slptrav10 I use Sanistar, you dont have to rinse.. its a good product!

  • is it a big deal if i didnt use sanitizer in the air lock and used just regular water

  • Wow, I'm a lab technician... I wish I had a hydrometer that was that easy to read at work.

  • aeriate before adding yeast

  • doesen´t matter.

  • Before or just after you can do a hydro reading.

  • arent you supposed to take a hydrometer reading before you pitch the yeast? probably doesnt matter huh?
