@Valimaar42 Get yourself a good refractometer. Its more accurate, and easier to use!
Has to be an alcohol reading one, for wine or spirits...

@slptrav10 I use Sanistar, you dont have to rinse.. its a good product!

Wow, I'm a lab technician... I wish I had a hydrometer that was that easy to read at work.

Before or just after you can do a hydro reading.

arent you supposed to take a hydrometer reading before you pitch the yeast? probably doesnt matter huh?
