Here's a Ceriatone JTM45 that I built from Nik's kit. It's a great amp. It's about 30-35 watts, and it's not too loud, but it's got plenty of volume for anything I need. The volume is pretty close to an AC-30. My intention was to demo the amp, not my playing abilities (or lack thereof). It really is a great little amp.

Cab is a Marshall 1965B 4x10 with 35w celestions.

Guitar is a MIJ Fender 62RI tele with a texas special in the neck and a DeArmond Goldtone HB in the bridge.

Enjoy.

  • Hi! How much does it weight? thanks!

  • @VelhosNovos No clue. I've sold it. Sorry.

  • @byusnowboarder any "bad" reason for selling?

  • @VelhosNovos nah, it just wasn't my thing. I prefer a plexi over this. This amp had too much sag for me.

  • @byusnowboarder Sorry man, but I asked you about the Marshall Cab 4x10... lol...

  • @VelhosNovos ah, you should have said that... No clue how the cab weighs either. It was a lot lighter than a 4x12, but it didn't have the sound I wanted. It sounded kinda dead. I think it was the speakers. With 4 celestion blues/silvers it'd sound awesome.

  • Also, sorry for two posts, but how difficult would it be to modify it to accept 6V6 or EL84 tubes, and how would that effect clean headroom?

  • Can it compete with a drummer with any semblance of a clean tone? Also, can it go from shimmery to crunch (listen to The Who's "Overture" Live at Leeds version to see what I mean) with out changing volume levels so much as to disrupt the song? I really love how dynamic that HIWATT is, but those (even copies) are out of my price and volume range.

  • @plexilespaul Yes, they're the ceriatone trannies.

  • are these the original tranformers???
