Daliah Lavi's talent for singing has been discovered in the year 1969 by an English record producer, who heard her unmistakable rosty voice for the first time in a BBC Show hosted by "Anatevka" Musical star Chaim Topol.
By that time the israeli beauty appeared as a leading actress in numerous European and Hollywood cinema productions.
In 1970 Daliah Lavi had her recording debut with "Best to forget", which has been released as the B-side of her better known chart hit "Love's Song". With this first single Daliah Lavi foundet her successful career as a pop and chanson singer, mainly in Germany, where she became the most popular female singer in the 1970 years.

  • When I was a child I loved her when she was singing. I loved the song "Oh, wann kommst du".

I was so small when I loved her... it was in 1970, I think.
