thats the same party i used on the final boss. it was nostalgic prior to them being the opening party members you meet at the beginning of the game

not just the cutscenes but the graphics entirely were better than FF9's and the cutscenes in FF9 look similiar to FF8's anyway...however i do like the way FF9 looks, maybe even more than FF8, because it's unique and it is like a 3D version of the 2D FF's but that might not be just due to the graphics but due to how the world is set, unlike FF8 which is more modern/futuristic. no other FF has reminded me so much of the older ones like FF9 has.

honestly i thought FF8 had better graphics...i dont know why they toned them down in FF9 but its still my favorite FF.
