@BigRedSuperman Divide the watts by the volts, and you get the amps. 5kw is 5000 watts, divided by 120v is about 41.6 amps. If you are using 240, it would have half as many amps because the voltage is clearly twice as high.

good video but i will want to know if u can make a video showing how to change the heat strips coil, i know how to troubleshooting but i never replace one of those coil strips when they broke. I Will appreciated if u do it. thanks.

dr z what are the different sizes of heaters and what size wire would you use for each?

@musclehed It all depends on the amount of amps and the volts the heat kit draws. You can refer to an electrical wiring charge to give you the correct wire size for your application.

how do u do a pump down on a 410a unit with a lps and a hps with a pc board is it possible to by pass the low pressure switch.please help

@12345marcov You could press in the contactor until the pressure gets down to about zero.
