That's cool. I started my skyscraper sunflower in a giant pot and plan to keep in there for the rest of its life. I first planted it in around two inch soil and it sprouted and is about three inches now.

Yeah, that was fun watching you kill your plant. They require space for the roots to expand and sunlight. A bloom is the result of a healthy life.

i think the plant died because the sunflower was either diseased, or the soil wasnt suited fot that mature of a sunflower, or that the soil got too dry. good job though
