What does ANYTHING ABOUT THIS have to do with Carrie?!?!!!
-
This is......kinda......catchy.
*ducks*
-
I saw this show....and it was actually boring and like watching a junior high school production.
-
@coffeekid815 Oh sorry, it looks like we went to a bad jazzercise recital... wait, this is Carrie?
-
@musicalgeek406 Ooo, oh yes he is sooooooo proud.
Actually, Stephen King himself liked the musical. Doesn't change how bad it is, but that's King's opinion of it!
-
Wow, this choreo looks like bad jazzercise.
-
@RadioCityChristmas - "Debbie Allen's vision of the show was for it to be in the style of Footloose and Fame" - erm, this IS her choreography. At least it made sense during a gym class, unlike the confusing seizure-like dancing during "Out for Blood".
Hands was the director, Allen was the choreographer - both made some rubbish decisions that sealed Carrie's fate. At least the 2009 reading offers some hope - they just need to get the staging right!
Stephen King must be *so* proud ;-)

The "In" from the recent workshop is somewhere and it is absolutely amazing. Sue sings first, than Chris, and the boys are in the number, the harmonies are fantastic
