@kingt426 Enjoy your spike. But seriously, you can't blame this band or bands like them for the fall of hair; it was always a genre that took Priest and Van Halen theory in a pop-direction; it was never going to last. Besides, the reason Nitro was so over-the-top in the first place was because they chose to be a parody of the mindlessness of the genre. Look past that and all you've got is pure talent and musicianship.
@kingt426 you know what, he can play a certaint way he wants to, and dont say that this album sucks till you can play guitar like MAB or sing like Jim Gilleate, by the way if you dont like the music, then why are you hear in the first place you constapated little piece of hairy butt sucking crap
@kingt426 what really happend is everybody decided to conform to one scene. a shitty scene. everyone was listening to either nirvana or some pop shit. kurt married rock into shitty pop. he disgusts me. now i'm not saying this isnt a cheezy album. but its guitar tone speaks with clarity. he doesnt need guitar pig distortion to sounds like he's an evil badass that has a point to say. songs like this werent the best, but they were better than what grunge lead us into.
I was a young guitar player when this album came out...so i had it because Michael Angelo was fast...it was impressive. then it just got boring, not too long after, when we grew up a little bit...my friends and I listened to this record when we needed a good laugh. even in 1989 they said "watch out world" and the world barely noticed, its a footnote of rock history...not because it is some overly artsy cult record...its a footnote because it sucks.
@WickedKnightAlbel lol. I'll take the spike over this. Records like this are why hair metal died the moment Nirvana hit the scene. People were sick of this kind ofmindless self indulgence. Look, Jim is very talented, and Michael Angelo is supremely skilled, but they didn't really say anything other than "look at me" with this record. This was a long way from "Shout at the Devil". in my opinion the definitive example of the best of Hair Metal.
