Morris Dancing: Birmingham 2010

The group are the Earlsdon Morris Dancers.

I uploaded this purely because I had struggled to find Morris Dancing footage on youtube before, when I was trying to explain about England's national dancing, having never witnessed Morris dancers myself. I hope that others can enjoy it like I did!

Earlsdon morris are from Coventry, and dance North West morris.

Jockey Morris Men were also in the city that day, and we are a Birmingham side who have been around since 1949. We dance mainly Cotswold, but also Welsh Border and Rapper. We're always looking for new members! To find out a bit more you can Google us, we have a website, and we're on Facebook.

Cool. I only heard about National Dance day like last week. It should be made more popular or something because i think it could possibly be a great day.

I'm from Birmingham too and never knew they were doing this.
