21st October is when the first collision will occur, till then its only testing of the two counter rotating beams of light, so obviously no black holes,

I read October 21st for their collisions. But I'm not sure. According to their site, they will possibly be simulating collisions as early as next week. Can't wait for the real thing.

Not possible until they start actually doing the collisions. Today they were just working on getting the beams working.

This was a very low-powered test they made. LHC was far from 100% operating strength.

If Strangelets or black holes are / were created, we will probably feel that later on... maybe in months, years even.
