This trial took a long time because the robot was set to be cautious with the angle that it hits the ball from. It looks like this paid off in the end, because it was able to shoot the ball in from a very wide angle.

The robot first plans a path to behind the ball using A* based on data from overhead cameras, then drives towards the ball to nudge it into the goal.
