The car one was smart! How long did you have to draw the light btw? I can manage around 10 seconds...
-
what camera did you use?

pretty nice...im trying to start my own project hope ill make a nice thing like this
Experiment, you can use any light source, it is up to you, i suppose the only issue you have to deal with doing light doodles excessive light from background sources (streetlights) or bright light sources you are doodling with.
Play with different light sources, shapes, brightness, flashing, filters, stensils, colour changers etc. they will all add different colours, effects and textures to your pic! good luck and enjoy :D

Hey Simon, my names JK and Im in Fever and doing Art foundation! The legendary Matt Harrison just linked me up with your video, and i just realised that the project that youve done here is the one i was given last week - good work! i was just wondering how u managed to get the shots without the people in the background.. like down the road for example.
xxxxxxx

cheers jk! you've probably found this out by now, it purely depends on the amount of light reflected off the person over the length of the exposure. In a dark environment, over a 30 sec exposure i could probably stand in the middle of the photo for a few seconds before moving and not be seen (unless I was caught with a bright light). experiment! cheers

Nicely done. Great images. I especially like 0:46, did you get other people to help you do this image?. I also like 1:32 ,fantastic. Well done.
I am going to try this outside now. :-)

thanks buddy. several of the shots from 0.46 were with about 8 people each with a different light source and instructions from me.
the shot in 1.32 really came from playing around and it fitted the story... an obvious issue with light art of this sort is you dont really know what you are going to get until you've done the shot :P suoer bright leds are not great for this, at the minute i'm liking the textures diferent light sources can create;
Look forward to your new pics :D

HAving now finished my art foundation, I'll be posting a few more collections, of stuff. expect another light art set (no storyline, just general explorations), tape sculpture, water shadows, and some auto-destructive art (using fire breathing). For general spinning, COMBUST (the fire group i'm in) has several videos on UTUBE, all of which are sumbited by my account. Enjoy and hope you like the new stuff when I get it online. si
