I cant stress enough how important timing is in music, in this case we are talking about guitar soloing. Many times i come across guitar players who does all their 101 licks in one go IGNORING the groove/timing of the song being played behind them.

When you time your licks well, your notes fall on the right places, you will sound more professional. Its real easy, just like listening to a piece of music, feel the groove and then execute well.

In this video i show you two examples of what im talking about.
