I'm new to dslr video. Haven't got a camera yet so there's loads of stuff I don't really know. One question though: How easy is it to switch from a deep depth of field to a shallow depth of field? Great video. Alex.

Its really easy, on the lens there are two adjustable cylinders, the larger one being the zoom and second which is closest to the end of the lens is the focus, by simply zooming in and turning the focus cylinder you can adjust the focus, its really simple :)
