@telada That's true and i know that, i've sold these cars. But the applied load on the water is much more than on the street. You will never find a VW-Marinediesel in a military boat or other commercial boats.

And extremly expensive! Compare it with the 6.6l GM Marinediesel. No chance for the VW.
