Its too hard to translate. The Goemon games are base on a lot of japanesse culture and history that most would get the humor. They could just hire people to rewrite the scripts but I guess there lazy.

this is the latest game and I've never heard new goemon for wii or 3ds.

So? People might not get what they're making fun of, but they buy games to PLAY them. Simply translating to the point you know how to play is enough, and that's doable.

I have this game on my DS... It would be a lot more fun if it had those 2d platforming levels like the SNES ones... Still, a lot of fun and worth buying. (I don't understand what they are saying, but I can still play the game ;)
