@dolofonos I guess people assume too fast that everything is tuned on a=440. But that harpsichord has its own set of rules. That's where it gets interesting and it's only the beginning...

@Trinitrotolaissance What puzzles me is how it comes to be that anyone with enough musical knowledge to understand the concept of Key or Pitch could not know the terms are not synonymous. Is there some school that teaches students to identify key by pitch and mode? It's quite ridiculous. I'm well aware of the difference and I couldn't tell a G from a C to save my life, on hearing alone.
