look, i understand it isnt entirely Obama's fault and that Harry Reid's leadership in senate is also to blame as well as the 5 democratic senators who rejected the public option on senate finance committee.
but notice this video is before that committee's results, and the Obama administration instead of being firm on the public option they appear unsure.
Obama had to be much more firm on the public option. he compromised too early, and got outplayed by the insurance lobby in the senate.

Yes, Charlie, please get him out of here. This is absolutely rediculous: a majority of Americans want a public option and you have 60 democrats in the Senate. I'm not exactly sure what else Emmanuel needs to get this thing in the bill. Please tell those Senators to do their fucking job and add the public option. There's no reform without it, period

I find it hilarious that people put the blame on Obama because the SENATE won't pass health care with a Public Option...
I have a feeling it's because people want to find a way to blame Obama, instead of going a bit deeper and coming out with the uncomfortable reality that the congressmen and senators in this country (dem and rep) are full of corruption.
