boy do I miss the old roadhouses with waitresses providing friendly service, use to see them in lots of small country towns on highways, nowadays it's McDonalds and those big petrol company owned service centres, they don't have the same welcoming atmosphere those old roadhouses used to have. Do they still have them in some parts of Australia?

Sounded like a nice place to eat. And I remember the childrens menu in restaurants here when I was little. I guess Dennys came in and took over right? We've had those in America ever since I could remember, But there's not any in my area, just IHOP which is International House Of Pancakes. They're usually in an area near the flea bag motels where the junkies live.
