Lucky Spencer | "Yesterday I Died..."

It has been months since my last video. I actually had this done a couple of days ago, but I didn't have time to render it. I've been working on this one for the past two months, and I'm still not completely satisfied with it. I changed the coloring about 4 times, and finally just stopped and settled w/one. I experimented w/a couple of new effects, but I still tried to not interrupt the flow of the vid.

There were a lot of ideas given to me for this video, and I had to narrow it down. I decided to focus on the two relationships that Lucky seems to have defined himself by for so long (Liz and Luke). I was going to put Nikolas and Laura in this, but while they have influenced him and been hugely significant, Lucky doesn't seem to define his life by them as much as he does w/Liz and Luke. And plus the producers of GH suck and won't bring Genie Francis back. I probably would have added Laura if she had been part of the present s/l.

I showed the past and the present and his struggles to hold onto something that's been gone for a while. He put both Liz and Luke up on a pedestal at one point or another, and they both took a giant fall, and he's had to see that they're definitely not perfect and their human and they will let him down even though they both love him. I tried to show that his relationship w/Liz had become unhealthy over time, and he's started something new Siobhan. I like that Lucky is currently realizing that being somewhat like Luke isn't a bad thing, and that doesn't mean he'll be a bad father because he's seeing that Luke wasn't all that bad of a father either. I tried to show how he's renewed his relationship w/Luke and let go of his relationship w/Liz. I also added Siobhan, because it shows that Lucky's hoping for something again, and learning to move on.

My next vid will a Jason/Sam one, so most of my subscribers should be happy :)

@jasamarenumberone Thank you! It's Center of Attention by Jackson Waters. It was requested, but I had to pitch shift it a little just in case of copyright. But I pitch shifted it down, so his voice just sounds a little deeper and not like a chipmunk.

Wow! This is an amazing video. You've captured what makes Lucky such a complex and fascinating character especially his relationships with his father and with Elizabeth. The song choice is perfect too!
