Are people really this stupid? Of course it's fake! Why? Because electricity will contract every muscle in the human body, yet this guy's fingers are outstretched instead of clenched tightly into fists. Also, the eyes were not covered to prevent them from blowing out of their sockets from the fluid boiling. Thirdly, the head was not shaved beforehand to provide positive conduction. Good job on the pant-wetting; a lot of similar videos miss that.

It's fake. It purports to have been filmed by a lone cameraman, yet at least two cameras are used (Check 03.37 where the cameraman has somehow been transported from one side of a locked gate to the other. Furthermore, images of all known electric chairs are to be found on the internet and this doesn't match any of them.

I don't think that it is right to take a man's life. I know that when it happens to you all you want to do is kill the person who did the bad crime. I still think that if you give a life time in prison without letting the inmate any chance of appeal and minimum contact with people, that could be a better solution cause he or she will never get the freedom again.

@captheim Actually, they did shave a small patch of his head in the beginning of the clip. The face covering is really to keep the witnesses from gagging at the sight of smoking flesh, but that's not relevant here. You're right: this is a very convincing, elaborately staged, fake execution. Although, I wonder how many people would be in favor of the death penalty if executions were filmed, especially electrocutions and gassing.
