A new name to Anjunadeep, Eelke Kleijn is by no means a new name to the progressive and techno scene at large. A prodigious and vastly experienced producer, the Dutchman has released on labels as esteemed as Baroque, Lost Language and Nick Warren's Hope Recordings, as well as releasing a full artist album ('Naturally Artificial') on the legendary Global Underground in 2007.

A track of depth, control and slow-burning groove, 'Mémoires' is a testament to Eelke's years of experience and sharp reminder of his future promise. A deliciously deep progressive gem, 'Mémoires' unravels a constellation of twinkling melodies which dance across each other endlessly in a dark but uplifting voyage.

In 'Music In My Pants', Eelke showcases a slightly racier, techno fuelled affair. Again, though, the Dutchman proves adept at weaving hidden depths out of deceptively simple grooves - gradually building a hypnotic tapestry of interlocking melody. Two contrasting sides to a producer of impressive pedigree within the progressive scene.

Really, this tune proves the great producing skills of Eelke. The underlying, continuing bass has some sort of dark side to it, but when the catchy melody jumps in, it blends dark and light together to make a perfectly well-balanced song. It all contributes to the ultimate dreaming experience I always get when listening. Eelke, please make more music like this! I love all your work. Keep it up.
