This is my brand new shubunkin. She's in quarantine before moving to the big tank. You can tell that she belongs in a much bigger space. In the correct light, you can see her beautiful glitter scales against the pearl ones.

  • Hmmmm..... I remember having a goldfish in a bowl for years and years who was the happiest little thing ever! That bowl i think was about a 1/3 of a gallon or less....

Perfection is not ever the result of anything....

  • @mikethe454driver Goldfish can survive in subpar conditions, but they certainly will not thrive. If they are in proper conditions, they can live for decades and grow to be almost two feet long. Your goldfish in the bowl had stunted growth because of poor living conditions. Is it possible for it to live in there? Sure. You could also live the rest of your life in a paper box if you had to.

  • The only negative thing I have to say is that goldfish need company theres room in that tank for two maybe even three in comfort.

  • That's a 10 gallon quarantine tank! You can't put three goldfish in a 10g tank in comfort. I don't even QT more than one goldfish in a 10g. Please do some research on them before you misinform people.

  • Despite it being your qt tank I absolutely love the decor!!! Are the plants in the tank real or fake? Also your shubunkin is gorgeous too. Wouldn't mind having one.

  • Combo of natural and fake plants. The substrate is Tahitian Moon Sand by Carib Sea. Thank you for the compliments! =)
