Koroneiki olive trees produce very heavy crops of olive fruit, and it is fantastic olive oil. The fruit is not used for table fruit becuase of its small size. This clone is selected from a Greek variety originally cultivated on the plains, lower hillsides and coastal areas of Crete, where the climate is relatively warm.
There are two types of Koroneiki olive trees sold now, the true Greek olive variety and then improved clones such as Koroneiki I-38.
I sell both, but prefer the "old World" variety for its fullness and classic olive olive tree look.
