VP Joe Biden was in Chicago's Bucktown at a fundraiser's home on Courtland Avenue, Tuesday evening, September 20. After leaving the house and before getting into his limo, he unexpectedly walked over to a small group of onlookers and shook hands and had his picture taken with a few folks. Then he left with a huge motorcade of about a dozen Chicago police motorcycle cops, several black SUV's full of secret service agents, a number of police cars, an ambulance, and an Illinois state police trooper bringing up the rear.
Biden was in town for a fundraising dinner earlier in the day at which he is purported to have raised $1 million. Obama's going to need all the money he can get.
