Gavioli Fair Organ

This organ is 107 years old and has some of the original music books. It is seen playing here at The Holbourne Museum Bath.The organ is part of a collection of organs including 2 x Mortier organs,a Black Forest Gavioli and a Dutch Street organ. The only two organs in trailers are this one and the Dutch Street organ. The other five are housed in an purpose built museum.

@GermanStreetOrgan Why ruin a perfecty original system this is a very rare intrument. There are also original Carl Frei arangements on this organ at the time when Carl Frei was working at the Gavioli fabric in Paris that is why it should not be converted to midi or WurliTzer rollsystem. When it will be properly restored this system will function perfectly.

If I were the owner, I would convert it to wurlitzer 165 rolls or 150 rolls. It would play a lot better on band organ rolls.

I like big gaviolis and this is a band organ not a fairground organ becuase of the facade and the size, This does not look like a ludwig gavioli organ...
