God of War II on the PC via PCSX II

So I wanted to play my PS2 games, but they look horrendous when placed on composite on the 32".

The alternative was emulators. I have attempted to find the "legal" (as in grey area of the law) alternative. I recently discovered how to back up my own bios (see this video: ), and when combined with the PCSX II Emulator it allows me to play my ps2 games on my PC.

4) My System specs are: AMD Phenom 9950 (quad core @ 2.6), 8 Gb Ram 800 Mhz, and using a 1Gb Saphire Radeon HD 3850.


NOTICE: The game has some impassable sections involving cut scenes freezing. ((POTENTIAL SPOILERS)): I froze during the second Prometheus cut scene and before getting to the island of creation.
Solution: You have to load your game on to a flash with a program called "mymc", code breaker transfer, get through the scene, and then offload back to the PC.....bottom line it's a pain, thus you might want to wait a bit to play GoWII.

Having a whole library at a double click is way more useful than storing hundreds of titles. Having a wireless controller is additionally more useful than having to be tied to a keyboard and mouse when precision is not needed.

sound is not good, but i suspect that is the cause of your screen recorder running with pcsx2

The actual issue was the feedback and railing due to speaker to mic recording, since Camstudio does not allow me to select the audio output as an option. however, you can select a mic (which was a male to male 1/8" jumper - speaker to mic).

It's a bit slower on the PC than on PS2....I have the issue in which it goes at around 20% of the normal PS2 speed and i don't know how to fix it except for the SpeedHacks included in the PCSx2.Now my game goes at around 80 % of the regular speed but I still don't enjoy it because of that.It's rather annoying.

Hey Phrasz013, I have this game running great, but it freezes during the cutscene after i beat the giant ceasar guy. GSDX 1076m is the one you want, no ghosting or double images. I can run it with an internal res of 2560x1600 and it looks amazing. Just crashes after the first boss. I need a little more help on how to load my game on to a flash. You mean a flash drive? copy the iso to a flash drive and run it from that? Please Help, Ill do whatever it takes to get through this game.
