Tuesday, February 8, 2011, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius came to the South Sacramento Building Healthy Communities site to mark the first anniversary of First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative. Will C. Wood Middle School students celebrated with a morning workout led by the Sacramento Kings.

Building Healthy Communities is a 10-year, $1 billion program of The California Endowment. 14 communities across the state are taking action to make where they live healthier. The goal: to create places where children are healthy, safe and ready to learn.
