This is such a complicated scenario, since the doner guy wants rights over the kid now too, I guess he should have to pay child support. But anonymous doners should NEVER have to pay. It is something that is done as a favor, and shouldnt be used to take advantage of them later. I think it was a big mistake for her to get the sperm from someone she knew, it makes things wayyy to complicated in the future.

@Concreto1984 she is a lesbian and was in a same sex relationship when her first child via sperm donation was born, the relationship fell apart but as a friend the donor stuck by the woman and agreed to play as a male role model to the children born of his genetic material, he looked after them in a nanny role and gave them gifts and covered expenses without any payment from the mother, she has no rights to child support.

so let me get this straight . The guy donated his sperms( not get paid for his swimmers), he took care of her kids(acted as a nanny with out any payments) , he didn't fuck her as she thought of him as a sperm donor and nothing else and now she wants child support from him for donating her his sperms. What kind of bull shit is happening in america under the pretext of " in the child's best interest???"

@billywms Yeah, I was mainly commenting on our New World Order court systems that throw legitimate contracts out like an old news paper. Initially, I would agree that guy should not have to pay child support.

He breached the contract when he wanted to have contact with the child as it's father.

You can't have it both ways, "I'm the sperm donator, no wait I want to be the father, What you expect me to support my child?"

After you donate sperm, you need to get lost, and he didn't.

@billywms ....It shouldn't because with adoption you give up all parental rights and ownership of the child to a stable family. They screen prospective parents income and do background checks, the whole 9 yards.

Your comment is still valid though, the way today's court systems go back on signed contracts.
