He had three very specific demands, and the U.S didn't consider meeting them. He is correct to state the sanctions against (and bombing of) Iraq was responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of women and children. Same as the U.S support for Israeli aggression.. He is correct that the U.S dropped TWO nuclear bombs of densely populated cities and considered that a legitimate military tactic. 9/11 was a senseless tragedy too, both sides are wrong and it is always innocent people who suffer.

To understand the whole thing you must go back to 1953 when the CIA secretly overthrew the Iranian democracy to install their own dictator. You mus also consider the bombing of Iraq for years before 9/11. In my opinion, 9/11 was a justifiable act on their part. If a country was bombing the US for years I think we would all be pissed and want to take similiar actions. No?
