Hellicoptor Ben Bernanke ruining our economy

I can't believe that Obama thinks this guy did such a "perfect" job. I can't think of a worse fed chairman than this clown. He is destroying the value of our money and the job market and I just hope that Ron Paul's HR 1207 is passed into law. Please contact your senators and tell them that this bill is a vote breaker for you and your family.

Employment rights have been eroded so that we have very little leverage to negotiate terms & conditions.

The media are encouraging the public to ban strikes for transport workers. Stupidly, many think this a good idea -not having their eye on the overall picture & changes in our society.

If this continues - & it will - house prices will have to reduce significantly as people will not be able to pay either a mortgage or rent.

If your transport workers are as high paid as the transport workers in my city, they shouldn't ever strike again. These losers in my city make $25/hr plus benefits to drive a bus! We have one of the highest fares in the US and they went on strike a few months ago with record unemployment and falling wages because 25/hr just isn't enough for them! Fuck em, I wish they would just allow them to be fired and hire the unemployed at 1/2 that salary.

Eactly - we in britain had our POLICE go on marches and threaten to strike - AND firefighters. They are all on approximately TWICE as much as normal people, retire earlier, get free private healthcare, and are generally spolied and arrogant about it.

The plan is to bankrupt millions & cause chaos, so that a one-world, fascist government can be installed.

Anyone who believes the banks have adjusted their ways or that we are heading for a long-term recovery is deluded.

It's not just the banks. Wages are sliding downwards whilst food & petrol prices are soaring. Governments are raising taxes & dreaming up new ones.

We will get the society we deserve in the end - because we are prepared to tolerate it.

Bernanke's comments about housing prices not falling seem either very naive (unlikely?) or he is not being honest.

Here in the UK (largely due to flooding the market with cheap labour from abroad), front-line salaries & working conditions have steadily decreased over the last 10yrs. Often to levels regarded as slave labour.

Recently released documents indicate the government lied to the public when they opened our borders, as this was indeed the purposeful intention.
