For me personally I have had 2 other ipods in the past and now im starting to go jogging again and I need a new ipod so i decided to get a shuffle because its cheaper and because ipods do breakdown after several years I don't need more than 1,000 songs I have a smart phone with internet and email I just need an ipod to play music for the hour a day im jogging for me its perfect!!

I think the iPod Shuffle is a great choice for people who are doing sports (at least I bought it because of that today. ^^). I tested the Nano and it was very neat and fun to play with. But after all, what's the point of a multi-touch screen if you can't look at it properly because you're jogging or something like that? :-)

hmm. I have to disagree with you bro because I like the shuffle. Many people like me loved the 2nd gen shuffle so apple brought it back. I am waiting for this and I will buy it. The nano is kinda pointless. Small touchscreen is so awkward in the hand. I would rather buy a touch than a nano.
