  • I liked the focusrite the most, it sounded much smoother, can you say the Universal Audio 710 is worth the extra money? it seem too expensive. I record a lot of solo classical acoustic guitar as well as electric guitar and I'm looking for a super high quality mic-preamp, I also do a bit of percussion and the odd vocals here and there, what do you think is better the UA 710 or Focusrite ISA one?

  • @btyremanable Hi. I purchased 710 twin finity recently. 710 is also good mic pre.

solid/tube tone blending on 710. But I like solid sound of 710.

I think ISA ONE is more versatile than 710. 710 sound is more colored than ISA ONE.

Both way is not wrong way. They are very good mic pre.

  • Hmmm. I talked to the people at RME the other day. Great video comparing great products. I can see why people go to the ISA. I like its color too, but the Presonus is as suprisingly transparent as the RME. That's alot of price point difference.

  • @SonicProvocateur Thanks for comment. ISA ONE is very versatile mic pre. If you have any plan to purchase mic pre and cant decide one,you go for ISA or Grace m101. These are very useful. Thanks!

  • HI i want a preamp just for pure rap/hi hop male vocals, i dont know what is the diffrence between the ISA ONE preamp and RME 400. i want to get the rme400 because it has a soundcard. Which pre amp is better? and by how many precent in diffrence wise? many thanks

  • @faji187 Thanks for comment. If you dont have better I/O,I recommend you better buy RME at first. But Lots of people think ISA is better mic pre than RME one. I also agree that :) Thanks!!

  • rme clearly the best here! second the focusrite isa one which also sounds great.

  • @52SOFT There is a lot of difference between these sounds. Listen carefully :) Thanks!

  • on my headphones Philips and presonus soundcard not hear any difference

  • ISA one outshines the rest, many people may just go for it because of the brand, but it is a quality pre-amp , brings out the dynamic range very well in all frequencies, and is super natural sounding. That's all I have to say comment me back people if you want to talk recording.
