yes, but its a small %, there is always a 10% chance of facing him in satans room and 5% as a mini boss, but that chance goes way up after you have visited satan. the more times you visit him the higher the % goes. You really just need to get to satan 2 times in one sitting the % goes up to like 50%

What does the lump of coal do?

The longer the tear is in the air the more damage it does when it hits.

And few words from me - apparently you increase your chances of getting devil room by not taking any damage during boss fight (and well, generally, not taking damage ;)). Also, picking Cain might help a little because of his Luck Foot item

FAQ:
1) Will this boss appear just 1 time?
- No, you can still get to him in every playthrough

2) Let's say you just picked up this game and have no clue what your doing, How early in can you see Satan?
- Well, you can see Satan several times in every playthrough, it all depends on few factors like not taking damage on the whole floor or during the boss fight and, well, having some luck :P This game is truly random in every way and it suprises you pretty much each time you play it :) The first Satan's room can appear in BASEMENT 2 (and every next floor)

Wtf.... I keep getting this Satan room but there is some cow/bull sitting there with 2 power ups/items all the time... really pissing me off

@Paradox6D For those of you that this doesn't work, select the very first number in the file, press ctrl-F and search for 63. Change all of those to 64.

theres a rare chance for u to see him lets say like greed theres a chance that you`ll meet him when you enter a store/secret room

You can call them "possebilitys" if you want but there's no choice to it it is random. When did I say I didn't explore all the rooms?

@James1803 it actually became realy enjoyable when you relise all the different possebilitys and that you always should explore the level entierly before bossfight

very much enjoying it :P becoz of the randomness involved
