i got cb 919 motorcycle its fuel injected, and it has a choke
-
i own an 06 and i dont have the rev hang at all. maybe the previous owner got it taken care of tho, but he only drove it 17k miles..

rev hang ftl

I hate that stupid rev hang, my 09 does it horribly. Emau, hell yeah u get like 30lb of torque and vtec engagement at 4200 rpms with the reflash. No real pickup on peak power though
-
Choke? On Fuel Injected? lol
-
Guys, youre better off dealing with the rev hang. Its there for a reason. Youre reving in excess of 8000 rpms, and if you snap the throttle plate closed (like possibly on a cable throttle RSX) your engine is going to choke and you can possibly expect a pretty mean backfire through the intake.

the revhang is still present...i just drove an 09 Si the other day and it's still there. It seems to have reduced very slightly. The only real fix is the reflash...in order to do it though, Honda needs your ECU...you have to send it to them to have it done.
this was a dealer recall on 2006 only models, it was fixed my 2007. I had one of the first si's off the line.

Wow that is shifting way 2early before the vtec takes its effect

yea...the video demonstrates the reflash of the rpm's falling...the early si's had issues with the rpms not falling when you took your foot off the gas.

my car dealer.... tell then about the bucking in the parking lot, jerky shifts etc etc. they will search for TSB's on the car and perform the reflash as needed
