They must have been defending a nest. They repeatedly attack this hawk. I would call it a successful "fend-off" as they get the hawk to go away. This took place right ouside of my window!

  • Yes they are! Isn't that crazy? It's like cannibalism.

  • Well...It's not really cannibalism...

    They are different species... It's just like a wolf eating a deer.

  • Actually it is because both these species are under the class of Aves. A wolf and deer do not share the same class.
